Hi, Scot. I've been told that you don't use bands or chains in your bench training. If that's true, can you tell me why?

WELCOME TO THE BOARD!I DONT USE BANDS OR CHAINS BECAIUSE OF JOINT DAMAGE .I ORIGINALLY TRAINED THE LOUIE SIMMONS METHOD, AND MY ELBOWS AND SHOULDER HURT SO BAD I WAS NEVER ABLE TO RECOVER. I FOUND THAT TRIANING LOWER BODY THE JOINTS ARE MUCH BIGGER AND THICKER AND THEY CAN TAKE THE LOAD WITH POSITIVE RESULTS. I THEN DEVELPED MY OWN METHOD WHICH ELIMINATED THOSE EXERCISES AND WENT TO A MORE STABLE METHOD WITH BOARD PRESS INVOLVEMENT.
