The reverse hyper machine in my gym is broken and the gym owner is in no rush to fix it. Are there some alternatives I can try?

Assuming your gym's reverse hyper is still not fixed, use a preacher bench also called a Scott curl bench (named for Mr. Olympia Larry Scott). Lean over it the opposite way you normally would and reach down and grab the seat. Raise and lower your legs. For resistance, you can hook a Jump Stretch band to the bench and loop it around your feet. Or, you can use Iron boots or slip a dumbbell between your ankles.
