[I'd appreciate your comments]
I used to think that training with a shirt to 3 boards didn't have much value. I thought it was just a way to hit a big number with no real carryover. I'm now thinking otherwise.
I used the 3 board to break in a shirt that . I recently hit a PR 695 to 3 boards, had some left in the tank. That was a 25lb PR.
Now this past weekend I went to the chest for the first time in a while. My meet best is 601 (at 255lb bw). I've hit 605 in the gym a few times.
Well, when I took the lift off this past Sunday, the first thing I noticed was the weight did not scare me, it didn't seem heavy. I warmed up with boards....515 to 3, 565 to 2, 585 to 1. My first attempt to the chest was 605, and I did not waste time trying to touch, I bailed at about 2 boards. (I am not heavier - in fact, this is at 245 BW and using the same shirt I hit the 601).
615 few up, so I tried a 625, and it did the same. The weight went down as good as it did up (for those that have seen me bench, it takes me FOREVER to touch).
I'm really feeling that working out with heavier weights for partials is removing the fear of the weight. I've recently been doing shirted 3 boards and shirted 3board w/blue bands.
What do you think?

.... I recently hit a PR 695 to 3 boards, had some left in the tank. That was a 25lb PR. Hit 715 off of 3 boards last Sunday. Went up pretty good, but tweeked my shoulder during raw warmups (actually hit a raw full range PR). I was definately NOT afraid of this weight - and actually THOUGHT i could do more. Mind over matter?
