Hi again Scot, I just got word that Ryan Kennelly is planning to take the RAW record from you. He claimed to a friend of mine that he hit 730 paused to one board in training and plans to train in the following months to hit 730-750 in a RAW meet. If he does break your 715, will you answer? I truly believe that no one, not even Ryan, can match your raw strength. 715 shot off your chest like a rocket and I was just curious to see what your thoughts would be about the possibility of going head to head RAW with Ryan. Thanks again.

if you watch the video there was no pause on it. just a touch and go. now ryan paused off a 1 board. thats even harder but i am not here to argue they are both great benchers and would love to see them both square off against each other in a meet raw meet that is.

Paused to one board is not the same as paused to the chest. Also, that touch and go was because the press call was yelled early. Clearly he could have nailed a paused bench, the weight was well controlled on the way down and he threw it up like it was nothing for him. I've seen the 715 video a million times just like everyone else. Ryan also told my friend that he had somehow seen scot barely miss lockout on 800 raw touch and go in training. That's f**king insane and if he can hit 780 and barely miss 800 raw touch and go then he must be good for some pretty huge weight with a pause. As strong as Ryan is, I'd have to give the edge to Mendy because he's one of two men in history to ever bench 700 in competition and he made it look incredibly easy each time he's done it.
