Have any of you ever tried using chains (or bands) with parallel bar dips to increase your bench?

Hi, Tom! I've used chains with the dips and really like them. I just hang them from my waist so that there's enough chain on the floor when I'm at the bottom of the movement. The bands would probably be stretched too far from the floor to be effective.

I'll second that, Bob. Chains work, bands are a real hassle.

My husband uses chains with dips and loves them. His bench has gone up quite a bit since incorporating the chains/dips to his training.
